This large candelabrum installation is generated from the topological distribution of planets in the Orion constellation. Viewed from above, its arrangement resembles a field of stars ― a cosmic map laid out for an interstellar banquet.
In traditional Chinese astronomy, Orion is known as Shēn Xiù, one of the Twenty-Eight Mansions. Shēn shares its sound with the word for "three" (sān), referring to the three bright stars of Orion's Belt. In Chinese culture, the phrase "Three Stars Shine High" conveys wishes for good fortune, hope, and blessings.
